Hey there, folks! It's your favorite fangirl and Avenger, Kamala Khan, and today I wanna talk about something near and dear to my heart: the X-Men!
Listen, I know I'm not the only one who's got a total crush on these mutants. I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with a guy who can shoot lasers out of his eyes, or a girl who can control the weather with a flick of her wrist?
Growing up, I devoured X-Men comics like they were my mom's homemade pakoras. And don't even get me started on the cartoons - I must've watched that theme song a million times. "X-Men, X-Men, does whatever an X-Men can!"
But it wasn't until I joined the Avengers that I got to meet some of these superpowered freaks in person. And let me tell you, it was like meeting a rockstar. I mean, Storm's got more style in her pinky finger than I have in my entire wardrobe. And Wolverine? Let's just say I was glad I didn't have to shake his hand.
But my absolute favorite X-Man has to be Rogue. I mean, the girl can absorb any power just by touching someone! It's like she's got the ultimate cheat code for life. I bet she could beat Galactus in a staring contest.
I even got a poster of Rogue hanging up in my bedroom, right next to my Ms. Marvel action figure. Whenever I'm feeling down or need a little inspiration, I look at that poster and think, "If Rogue can steal powers, then I can steal the show!"
So to all you X-Men fans out there - keep on dreaming of mutantkind and their superpowers. And to the X-Men themselves - thanks for making me feel like a little girl with stars in her eyes again. You're X-ceptional, baby!
